About College
Vadamalayan Institute of Medical and Allied Health Sciences had come into existence from 2006. The institution is located in the heart of the city just adjacent to Vadamalayan Hospitals. The institution is offering various Allied health science courses and management courses also.
The institution educated around 300 students and right now 100 students are studying in this campus. The motto behind starting these allied health science courses is to transform the students joining these courses into highly skilled paramedical service providers. Classes are conducted by highly experienced physicians, surgeons and technical people of respective departments. We are training the students by allowing them to practice in Multispecialty hospital setup which makes the learning pragmatic. In turn, we achieve our motto. Library, Seminar hall, video conferencing room, computer room with Internet connection and audio visual aids such as OHP, LCD projectors helps our student to learn eminently.

This year 5 new allied health science courses offered with The Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University affiliation Viz.
• B.Sc., Physician Assistant,
• B.Sc., Dialysis Technology,
• Diploma in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology,
• Diploma in Radiology and Imaging Technology,
• Diploma in Nursing Aide.
Job opportunities after the course are massive; mostly they will be placed in our own hospital. In spite of that the students who completed these courses have opportunities from Government hospitals, abroad and other private institution.
